The Office of Planning, Analysis and Technology (OPAT) was established
to help senior EOIR management develop and implement an agency strategic plan.
This office is responsible for the agency's information technology, program
evaluation, statistical analysis, and reporting activities in support of the
mission-critical goals and objectives established by senior management. OPAT
also oversees efforts to help the Director and component heads to encourage
and draw upon staff input to agency plans.
