GOV. RITTER SIGNS 10 BILLS INTO LAW TODAY

Gov. Ritter signed the following 10 bills into law today, including the Homeowner Protection Act of 2007:

HB 1338--"Homeowner Protection Act of 2007" (Rep. Pommer and Sen. Veiga).

SB 77--Concerning a requirement of behind-the-wheel training for driver licensing (Sen. Takis, Rep. Marostica).

SB 90--Concerning county authority to vest title to a vacated roadway (Sen. Kopp, Rep. J. Kerr).

SB 95--Concerning the limitation on the number of full-time equivalent employees that CDOT may employ, and, in connection therewith, repealing that limitation (Sen. Ron May, Rep. Borodkin).

SB 101--Concerning the regulation of foreign capital depositories (Sen. Isgar, Rep. Butcher).

SB 149--Concerning an increase in the amount of fees local jurisdictions are permitted to charge for alcohol beverage related applications (Sen. Bacon, Rep. Buescher).

SB 153--Concerning enforcement of certain orders issued by a local health officer (Sen. Morse, Rep. Gagliardi). SB 155--Concerning fees charged to a customer using an account from a foreign bank (Sen. Schwartz, Rep. Rice).

SB 184--Concerning the addition of the state treasurer as a nonvoting member of CoverColorado board of directors (Sen. Fitz-Gerald, Rep. McGihon).

SB 201--Concerning the continuous appropriation of moneys in specified funds used to pay benefits under the "Workers' Compensation Act of Colorado." (Sen. Renfroe, Rep. Marshall).
