NCIPC & NCEH/ATSDR Funding Opportunities

Overview

The Office of Extramural Programs (ERPO) supports the research missions of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), the National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), and the Agency for Toxic Substance and Disease Registry (ATSDR) by soliciting research applications through funding opportunity announcements (FOA). Under Current Funding Opportunity Announcements you will find links to the current announcements for NCIPC and NCEH/ATSDR. See the section entitled Small Business Innovation Research Program (SBIR) for information and a link to the current CDC and NIH SBIR Program announcement. Past funding announcements offer excellent background information as to the types of research funded. Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) from NCIPC and NCEH/ATSDR for which CDC is currently accepting applications can be viewed from the following links. Below the current open FOAs, there are links to FOAs from prior years that offer excellent background information as to the types of research funded. If you wish to be immediately informed of future NCIPC FOAs as they are published, you may sign up to join the NCIPC list serve at http://www.cdc.gov/ncipc/email_list.htm. Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)

The SBIR program is a set-aside program (2.5% of an agency's extramural budget) for domestic small business concerns to engage in Research/Research and Development that has the potential for commercialization. More information on the SBIR program can be found at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/sbir.htm. Specific SBIR funding priorities for NCIPC injury research and NCEH/ATSDR environmental health research are listed within the SBIR FOA on that website.
