Counterfeit Alert Network

In February 2004, FDA created the Counterfeit Alert Network, a coalition of health professional and consumer groups. The Network has three goals:

U.S. Food and Drug Administration- Report Counterfeit Drugs

In the event of a confirmed counterfeit case in the United States, FDA will send an alert to these partners. The agency also will send partners a notice if a counterfeit incident is confirmed elsewhere in the world that could affect U.S. patients.
