A Holiday Message from Director John W. Gillis

As Director of the U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime, I would like to wish everyone a safe, joyous, and peaceful holiday season. Our economy is strong and the future is promising—as Americans, we have much to be grateful for, certainly. We continue to pray for peace on Earth.

As 2003 comes to a close, I reflect on the gracious spirit and generosity of those who serve those less fortunate. It is with this selfless sacrifice that true hope and blessings are realized. We need to remind ourselves that the true essence of giving, compassion, and unity remain with us throughout the New Year.

Happy Holidays!
