Yamsi Ranch Waterline Project responds to a Special Use Permit request from John Hyde of the Yamsi Ranch to trench a buried waterline across a corner of Forest Service land at Calimus Meadows. The legal location is T34S, R9E, Section 11. The purpose of the project is to reduce grazing pressure by controlling animal use and providing off stream water sources. The Yamsi Ranch has applied for a grant from the Klamath Basin Ecosystem Restoration Office (ERO) for this project. Work is expected to be done in FY 2003-2004.
