  • Providing opportunities for all classes of non-highway licensed vehicles
  • Providing opportunities where there is also strong demand
  • Locations where designated trail systems could effectively help resolve social, resource, and/or enforcement concerns
  • staffing available to complete projects in desired timeframe

The interdisciplinary team is currently looking within this area to develop Class I, II and III trails. The Three Trails analysis area is widely used by the local communities of Crescent Lake Junction, Crescent and Gilchrist, as well as OHV enthusiasts from Eugene and Klamath Falls. opportunities.

  2. Bend/Ft. Rock Ranger Dist. (Lava Cast area connecting to East Fort Rock Trails) - This analysis area is approximately 140,000 acres. The interdisciplinary team is looking within this area to add primarily Class III single track and Class II trail opportunities, with some Class I/II/III shared trails.

  3. Lookout Mt. Ranger Dist. (McKay Creek Area) - This analysis area is approximately 26,000 acres.
