(The Pleistocene lasted from 1.8 million to 11,000 years ago, during which time several ice ages occured.) Astronaut photograph ISS006-E-33901 was taken February 26, 2003, with an Electronic Still Camera equipped with 28 mm lens and is provided by the Earth Sciences and Image Analysis Laboratory at Johnson Space Center.
