TRAINING: No special training requirements have been identified for any documents issued with this change notice.

REMARKS: IMC 0860 (Requests For Enforcement (Or Other) Action Under 10 CFR Part 2.206) is deleted. This manual chapter has been replaced by NRR Office Letter 600, "Procedures For Handling Requests Under 10 CFR 2.206 (Director's Decisions)."
IP 87100 (Licensed Material Programs) is deleted. The guidance provided by this procedure has been incorporated into and superseded by IPs 87111 through and including 87119.
IP 88003 (Reactive Inspection For Events At Fuel Cycle Facilities) is issued to provide guidance to inspectors for reactive inspections specific to fuel cycle facilities. Existing procedures exist for reactive inspections below the level of AIT of ITT inspections at reactors or materials licensee facilities, but are not appropriate for fuel cycle facilities. The need for this procedure was recognized, and included as a recommendation, as a result of the Integrated Material Performance Evaluation Program (IMPIP) review of Region III in April, 1997. This procedure will not be included in the core program for fuel cycle facilities; its inspection hours are adjustable, to be determined on a case by case basis by NRC management, but may typically be 40 hours. There is no frequency, since the procedure is used only on the occasion of an event, when a need is determined by NRC management.
