Summary of the Conference
1430 people attended the Conference at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Denver, Colorado. There were 6 plenary sessions in addition to the opening and closing plenaries, and 90 workshops. There were 24 not-for-profit exhibitors. About 65 posters were presented.
Almost 1000 people attended the Welcoming and Networking Continental Breakfast on April 29. Almost 400 people participated in the Lunch Rounds on April 30. The Immunization Q&As, presented by Dr. Atkinson and the NIP training team on April 29 and May 2, were also very well-attended.
140 conference attendees took part in the CardioSalsa Aerobics event on April 30. 180 people participated in the Fitness Walk/Run in Cheesman Park on May 1. The Hatha Yoga class on May 2 was attended by 75 participants.
50 local-area volunteers supported the conference staff this year. Special thanks to Lesley Chace for her hard work in recruiting and coordinating the volunteer support.
