As you start to think about a career, here are a few pointers:
- The earlier you start thinking about what you'd enjoy, the better off you'll be.
- Get your high school diploma or a GED.
- Take as many courses in math and science as you can.
- Learn good speaking and writing skills.

Career Voyages exists to help you find out which occupations are in-demand. To learn more about how these industries and occupations were selected, click here. This web site also gives those high demand occupations which do not require years and years of school. In fact, there are lots of alternatives to a 4-year degree, including, apprenticeships, vocational certificates, and 2-year degrees.
