NRC's Office of Federal and State Materials and Environmental Management Programs has project management responsibility for decommissioning complex materials facilities. There are 19 complex materials sites undergoing decommissioning regulated by NRC. There are 45 complex materials sites regulated by the Agreement States that are undergoing decommissioning.
