In spring and summer of 2007, the Arcata Fish and Wildlife Office conducted an acoustic telemetry study of juvenile coho salmon residence time and habitat use in Humboldt Bay, California. This project was a collaboration between the AFWO, California Department of Fish and Game, the Humboldt Bay Harbor Conservation and Recreation District, California Sea Grant, and Coast Seafoods.
