The Alabama Legislature has adjourned its 1st Special Session, 2008, sine die. On May 27, 2008, the Governor issued a Proclamation, calling the Legislature into Extraordinary (Special) Session. A Special Session can consist of no more than 12 Legislative Days, within a 30-calendar day period.

To obtain copies of business transacted in this year's sessions, as well as previous sessions, confirmations, roll call votes, adjourn/convene times and final bill status, go to Legislation, Code and Constitution. All questions relating to information contained in this section of the website should be directed to Site Support.

We have opened the section for Historical Acts And Journals, contained within the Legislative History portion of the website. Acts and Journals will be added to this section on an incremental basis, as available.
