Environmental Information

The project is located in the Olson Creek subbasin, which is part of the larger Lower Green River Basin. A stormwater detention facility is being constructed to manage runoff. Additionally, porous concrete is being used for the sidewalks, which helps minimize the amount of new impervious surface in the project area. Areas of stream restoration, wetland creation, and critical area buffer enhancement are being developed offsite, but within in the Olson Creek subbasin to mitigate for unavoidable project impacts on critical areas. Mitigation will provide an opportunity to improve salmonid habitat downstream of the project area.
