Steering Committee Purpose

The Steering Committee guides the MAHC process. Committee members set priorities, create the Technical Committees, appoint chairpersons, and advise them on the MAHC process and objectives. The Committee also exercises editorial control of Technical Committee products to ensure that developed materials are written uniformly and fit the MAHC’s mission and objectives. On May 1, 2007 a 10-member Steering Committee was established to begin planning and oversight of MAHC development and coordination of Technical Committee activities.
