"BRIDGES TO THE 21st CENTURY" TRANSPORTATION SUMMIT SET FOR TOMORROW
More than 560 participants have registered for tomorrow¿s "Bridges to the 21st Century" statewide transportation summit, Gov. Bill Ritter announced today.
"Our original goal was 400 participants," Ritter said. "The fact that more than 560 people have registered demonstrates just how important the topic of transportation is to the people of Colorado."
Colorado Department of Transportation Executive Director Russell George and Ritter will kick-off off the all-day summit at 9 a.m. Registration and sign-in starts at 8 a.m. for the summit, which is being held at the Colorado Convention Center, Korbel Ballroom, 700 14th St.
Tyler Duvall, the U.S. Department of Transportation¿s assistant secretary for policy, is the keynote speaker. Dr. Marty Wachs of the Rand Corp. also will be making a presentation during the summit. For the complete agenda and additional information, visit www.colorado.gov/governor
