Rodeo and Chediski Fires in Arizona
This Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) image from Monday, June 24, 2002, shows the Rodeo and Chediski Fires (red dots) in Arizona (bottom center) and the immense smoke plumes they are creating. The plumes are moving north and appear to be mingling with smoke from other fires in southwest Colorado. Please note that the high-resolution scene provided here is 500 meters per pixel.
