Gov. Bill Ritter today will kick off a weeklong tourism promotion aimed at encouraging residents to spend their next vacation exploring the many wonders of Colorado instead of traveling out-of-state or even abroad.

At a 1:30 p.m. news conference today on the West Steps of the Capitol, the Governor will proclaim Sept. 10-14 "Let's Talk Colorado Week." The stay-at-home tourism campaign will include a sweepstakes to win two tickets on the AAA Grand Junction Wine Train, and an informational gift bag for the first 3,000 people who visit one of AAA Colorado's 14 statewide offices.
