The Voluntary Services at each VA NY/NJ Veterans Healthcare Network facility continues to support the traditional use of volunteer resources. Many of our veterans have come to depend on volunteers for an improved quality of life while they are patients in our facilities. Staff has come to appreciate volunteer assistance which helps to make them more productive and attentive to the needs of our veterans. Volunteers provide a wide range of support and financial assistance to programs for our veteran patients throughout the year.
