User Registration
All researchers coming to the CFN to work at a facility must have an active appointment with Brookhaven National Laboratory. Early registration is strongly encouraged because, in some cases, it can take up to 120 days to obtain necessary approvals. Click here to begin the process.

PLEASE NOTE:  All new users should confirm that all necessary approvals are in order before traveling to the CFN. If you have questions, please contact the User Administration Office at (631) 344-NANO.

Safety Training
All users must complete/update their safety training prior to access to the CFN facilities. These training modules can be completed online prior to arrival at the CFN. This is strongly recommended since it saves a considerable amount of time during the check-in process. Completion of User Registration is a prerequisite for safety training. Register for Gate Access
All new users and users with expired appointments are required to complete the Guest Check In/Out Form prior to arrival.

What you MUST bring
All users must bring proper identification during their visits to BNL. Failure to possess current identification may result in your inability to be granted access to the BNL site.
