Download the PLATA installation to a temporary folder on your c drive and run it from there. NOTE for WINDOWS 2000 and WINDOWS XP professional or network users! You need ADMINISTRATIVE PRIVILEGES to install software.

PLATA should install to c:\plata.

Installing updates and patches: To add the latest R1 TEA model to your installation, go to the UPDATES page and download the appropriate MODEL Set to the c:\PLATA\IMPORT folder.

Run PLATA. Choose the Default Database Builder.

Choose the "Import or Export Data" page.

Select the appropriate function (Import Data) button. Select the appropriate file type (Model Set).
Select the name of the model set from the left-hand pick list.
Select the name of the Area Default you want to use from the right-hand pick list.
Click the Process button.
