The Computer-Aided Dispatch Interoperability Project Documentation of Regional Efforts presents an overview of how three different regions across the Nation implemented a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) interoperability project in their region. Interoperability among CAD systems can reduce response time, increase personnel efficiency, and increase vehicle efficiency. This document provides emergency responders with best practice recommendations and ideas for how they may be able to link CAD systems in their own region.
