(Direct awards to individuals are made only through Literature Fellowships, NEA Jazz Masters Fellowships, and NEA National Heritage Fellowships in the Folk & Traditional Arts.)

NOTICE: The Arts on Radio and Television application deadline has been extended to September 15, 2008. [Material that must be mailed directly to the Arts Endowment must be postmarked (or show other proof of mailing) no later than September 16, 2008.] The deadline has been extended due to hurricane activity.

New guidelines for Grants for Arts Projects (GAP), the Arts Endowment's major support categories for organizations are now available. Deadlines are: Access to Artistic Excellence - March 10 and August 11, 2008; Challenge America Fast-Track - June 2, 2008; Learning in the Arts - June 9, 2008.

Federal Partnership opportunities such as Save America's Treasures and Coming Up Taller are listed within the disciplines/fields.
