The system currently contains two databases: the music journal database of 12,000+ entries and the Poland-Cady Abstract Collection of 4,500+ entries on pre-1966 references important to music teaching and learning. new music now
new music now is designed both for music professionals and for music lovers who have an interest in learning about and programming new music. The site identifies seminal works written in the last thirty years, and includes an analysis of the piece, composer biographies and interviews, discussions with conductors and presenters about performing the work, and sound files. Several new works and composers are added each month. The site also touches on keys to performing new works and links to other new music resources on the web.
