Passes & Permits

 

RECREATION PASSES

Effective February 2007, three Interagency Recreation Passes are available:

  • Interagency Annual Pass
  • Interagency Senior Pass
  • Interagency Access Pass

The Interagency Senior Pass and Interagency Access Pass replaced the Golden Access and Golden Age Passports. The  Forest Service will honor Interagency Senior Pass and Interagency Access Passes at all fee campgrounds.

The Interagency Annual Pass is available for Federal recreation sites that charge an entry fee. Single day, multi-day and annual passes are available.

PERMITS

Individual permits for use on, and issued by, the Stanislaus National Forest.

Tuolumne River Boating Permits

Apply for the permit required to boat the Tuolumne River from May 1 through September 30. More Information

Campfire Permits

A campfire permit is required for campfire use except when camping in a developed campground. Obtain a campfire permit in person at any CalFire, Bureau of Land Management or Forest office.
