The United States of America, Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB) has a requirement for buildings and grounds/facility maintenance services to support the operations and maintenance of its Transmitting Station facilities at Tinang, Concepcion, Tarlac Province, Republic of the Philippines. The Contractor shall be required to provide skilled and unskilled labor to perform buildings and grounds maintenance services. The types of services required are as follows: (1) Real Property Maintenance and Repair Services; (2) Appliance and Equipment Maintenance Services; (3) Electrical/HVAC/Household Equipment & Appliances; (4) Plumbing Services; (5) Rigging/Antenna Tower Repair Services; and (5) Machining Work and Metal Fabrication.

The Contractor shall be required to provide the above services on both a scheduled basis and an emergency basis. The evaluation factors for award will be included in the forthcoming RFP document. The period of performance will be for one base year, with options for 4 additional one-year option periods. The annual estimated price of services required is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561210 - Facilities Support Services and the small business size standard is $32.5M. Contractors must be familiar with local licensure and workers' compensation insurance requirements for tradesmen.
