Pacific Valley Campground Elevation 7,600 Setting Alpine meadow/forest, adjacent to Mokelumne River and near Mosquito Lakes . Directions 1/4 south of Highway 4 at Pacific Valley, midway between Lake Alpine and Ebbetts Pass Road Access Paved Highway Total Campsites 15 dispersed (pick your own) sites.  Walk-In Campsites   Max. Vehicle Length Not recommended for trailers. Max. Length of Stay 14 days Max. Group Size six persons per site Water none Restrooms Vault toilets Tables 15 Stoves fire rings (campfire permit required) Fee none Reservations first-come, first-served Season of Use June to October, weather permitting Services Emergency medical services available at the Arnold Medical Clinic in the Meadowmont Shopping Center in Arnold, or at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital in San Andreas (Highway 49). Gas station in Bear Valley. Groceries and camping supplies in Bear Valley and Lake Alpine. Public (fee) showers at Lake Alpine Lodge. Site Manager Forest Service Special Equestrians with horse trailers may camp at the southern end of the campground, near the trailhead.
