MESSAGE FROM HOLLY MAYOR TO PEOPLE OF NORTHEAST COLORADO
Holly Mayor W. Bruce Roup has asked Gov. Ritter to convey the following message to the people of Northeast Colorado:
"We are deeply concerned about the news coming out of Weld County this afternoon regarding another terrible tornado disaster in our State. Our spirits are wounded anew by the reports of loss of life, damage and carnage. Our community will commit to holding you in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time." - W. Bruce Roup, Mayor, Town of Holly
FYI: Mayor Roup (pronounced Roop) was elected as Mayor on April 1, 2008. However, his home was totally destroyed in the Holly tornado. He and his wife have very recently moved into their new home.
