Software
Some multimedia segments on this Web site are available in RealPlayer
format. These segments can contain audio, video, or both. Typically,
multimedia computer files are relatively large, requiring more time to
download. To significantly decrease the wait,
CDC makes use of RealPlayer® format files. A file of this kind can begin
playing before it finishes downloading. This technology is called
"streaming."
To view these streaming media
files, you will need RealPlayer® software correctly installed on your
computer. This software is created and distributed by RealNetworks, Inc.
You can download a free version of their software from their Web site. You
will also find download and installation instructions on their Web site.
