Fuel and Feedstock Flexibility is a crosscutting activity of the Industrial Technologies Program (ITP). The sub-program focuses on accelerating the market adoption of emerging technology options for industry, such as the utilization of gasified fuels, landfill gas, and electro-technologies.
The priorities and objectives of the program are:
- Process Integration to conduct technical research for the development of fuel-flexible hardware
- Technology Validation to demonstrate the effectiveness of fuel flexible technologies in strategic applications
Solicitations
ITP conducts a competitive solicitation process to award cost-shared funding for R&D projects that will help to realize national goals for energy and the environment. Projects are performed by collaborative partnerships and must address both energy and cost savings, and industry needs.
