Grants and cooperative agreements are forms of financial assistance to organizations to support a public purpose. The amounts and duration of financial assistance will vary. A grant requires the completion of program activities by the funded organization only. A cooperative agreement includes substantial participation on the part of the CDC.

Do you provide funds to individuals to assist with health care costs?

You may contact the Grants Management Specialist listed in Section VII of the funding opportunity announcement to formally request this information.  CDC also suggests accessing  Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects (CRISP) at: http://crisp.cit.nih.gov .  CRISP is a public website that shows all funded grants from CDC's IMPAC II grants management system.  The website allows users to filter for all of CDC or by a specific funding center using the two-alpha IMPAC II code at the beginning of every funding opportunity number. For additional information you may contact CDC's Freedom of Information Act Office to formally request this information.

What determines whether a particular RFA will be re-announced in the future?
