Guided tours are given of Eleanor Roosevelt's Val-Kill

Val-Kill was the only place Eleanor Roosevelt called home. It was here that she pursued her political and social interests, wrote her My Day column and worked on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Today, visitors can tour Mrs. Roosevelt's Val-Kill, stroll the grounds, and view an introductory film called “Eleanor Roosevelt Close To Home.” that is shown in the playhouse.
