Group tours are scheduled throughout the year by local school and civic groups. A favorite time of the year for tours is springtime, during our river broodstock collection of northern pike and walleye, and host fish infestation with larval mussels called glochidia (see mussel page). This is from late March to the middle of May. A good time to see our lake sturgeon program is the end of May through September.
