Eloxatin (eh-LOK-sah-tin)

 A drug used to treat colorectal cancer that is advanced or has come back. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Eloxatin belongs to the family of drugs called platinum compounds. Also called oxaliplatin.
