Getting Around
 

BIRTHPLACE UNIT
Begin your visit to the park with a stop at the information desk located inside the Visitor Center. The staff will provide orientation to the area's attractions and facilities. The main historic points of interest may be reached via sidewalks. The park picnic area and additional hiking trails are located across US 31E and KY 61 from the Visitor Center.

BOYHOOD HOME UNIT AT KNOB CREEK
This site became a part of the park in 2001 and is located 10 miles northeast of the Birthplace on US 31E.  Visitors are welcome at the Boyhood Home all year round from dawn to dusk.  Your visit at the site will be an exterior visit only.  The site is staffed seasonally - make sure to check Operating Hours & Seasons.
