A New Birth of Freedom
There is a charge for the film "A New Birth of Freedom" narrated by Morgan Freeman, at the park Visitor Center. The film was produced for Gettysburg by the Gettysburg Foundation.
Admission to the film is:
$8.00 per person (ages 13 and older)
$6.50 for children (ages 7 to 12)
Children under 6 years old admitted free.
Group Rates: $7.00 per adult.
Student Group Rates: $6.50 per person.
(*Please note that these admission prices will go up in September once the restored Gettysburg Cyclorama is opened for public viewing.)
Licensed Battlefield Guides
Guides may be reserved in advance for organized bus groups and car tours by calling toll free at 1-877-874-2478. A guide may also be reserved on the day of your visit with availability on a first come-first served basis.
Guide fees:
1-6 people= $55.00
7-15 people= $70.00
16-49 people= $105.00
50+ people= $140.00.
During the busy season, there are commercial bus tours available with a licensed guide aboard that leave from the visitor center at times scheduled throughout the day. The fee for this service is $25.95 for adults (ages 13+), $15.50 youth (ages 6-12), and free for children 5 and under. Additional information on guide services is available here.
