The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will issue a special report May 30, entitled Wheat Objective Yield Survey Data, 1993-2007. This report will provide information on the types of data NASS collects in its wheat objective yield surveys and how the data relate to the yield estimates published by NASS’s Agricultural Statistics Board.

NASS is providing this information to aid data users in understanding the wheat objective yield program and to provide a historical perspective of the changes that have occurred in the data over the last 15 years.
