Goals

The goal of G&T grant program is to provide funding to enhance the capacity of state and local jurisdictions to prevent, respond to, and recover from incidents of terrorism involving chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive (CBRNE) weapons and cyber attacks. G&T's grant programs were initiated in 1998, and currently provide funds to all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Financial Management Guide

The Office of Grants and Training Financial Management Guide is intended to be used for the administration of Federal award programs administered by the Office of Grants and Training (G&T) in conjunction with the provisions of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) circulars and government-wide common rules applicable to grants and cooperative agreements, program guidelines, application kits, special conditions, terms and conditions, G&T information bulletins, and DHS policy, regulations and statutes.
