Foreign Affairs Magazine
Foreign Affairs has been published since 1922 and is considered
to be one of the leading publications in the field of foreign policy.
The website offers full text of a featured article and summaries
of selected articles from the most recent issue. There is also an
archive containing articles published from 1988 to the present,
plus selected "classic" articles from earlier issues.
Two separate indexes in the archive list articles by author and
issue. A list of related websites is provided, linking to world
news organizations, commentary from domestic and foreign publications,
international and multinational organizations, learning institutions,
and think tanks.
Foreign Policy Magazine
Widely regarded as one of the most influential international
affairs journals in the world, Foreign Policy was launched
in 1970 to encourage fresh and more vigorous debate on the vital
issues confronting U.S. foreign policy. The journal, which is published
by the nonprofit, Washington, D.C.–based Carnegie Endowment for
International Peace, has been a forum for in-depth discussion of
issues and events and a source of new ideas and new approaches.
Political Science Quarterly
Founded in 1886, this journal is among the most widely read
and scholarly journals on government, politics, and public policy,
both international and domestic. Selected full-text articles and
book reviews on U.S. politics and international affairs from each
issue can be sampled online.
Royal Institute of International
Affairs
The Royal Institute of International Affairs, also known as
Chatham House, is one of the world's leading institutes for the
analysis of international issues. Founded in 1920, the Institute
works to stimulate debate and research on political, business, security
and other key issues in the international arena. It does this through
its research, meetings, conferences and publications as well as
through its library and information centre and expert interviews
for the media. Available on this site are featured and referred
articles from The World Today, the Institute's monthly
magazine and International Affairs, the Institute's
quarterly magazine.
Stockholm International Peace Research
Institute
Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has
built its reputation and standing on competence, professional skills,
and the collection of hard data and precise facts, rendering accessible
impartial information on weapon developments, arms transfers and
production, military expenditure, as well as on arms limitations,
reductions and disarmament. The task of the Institute is to conduct
scientific research on questions of conflict and cooperation of
importance for international peace and security with the aim of
contributing to an understanding of the conditions for peaceful
solution of international conflicts and for a stable peace. This
site offers research reports on the aforementioned areas of peace
