Diplomatic List (U.S. Department of State)
Web version of a quarterly publication (LC call number JX1705.A22) compiled by the Office of Protocol, U.S. Department of State. It gives the names of members of the diplomatic staffs of all missions to the U.S.; their spouses; and address and phone for their embassies in Washington, DC. The site features the recent issues of the publication (Winter 2000-present). There is also a separate archive of back issues (Fall 1997-Winter 2000).

Foreign Affairs Online
This site directory has been specifically designed to assist students and other individuals interested in international relations, international law, and U.S. foreign policy. It has an extensive group of links to general reference, map, and media resources, U.S. and foreign government websites, and websites related to human rights and international organizations.

Governments on the Web
This site is sponsored by the Electronic Frontier Foundation. It is one of the most extensive lists of international, national, regional, and local governmental and government-related Web servers. Its database covers governmental institutions on the Web including parliaments, ministries, offices, law courts, embassies, city councils, public broadcasting corporations, central banks, multinational organizations, and political parties. Available in English and German, it is arranged in a hierarchical index organized by continent, country, and smaller divisions. It also has thematic groupings including heads of states, parliaments, political parties, elections, and currency.

International Relations and Security Network
The ISN is a one-stop information service in the fields of international relations and security. Among the services offered are: an annotated links library, a limited area search tool (ISN LASE), a selection of resources on current world affairs, and specialized fact databases. The ISN also develops educational modules in the fields mentioned and acts as a platform for networking, dialogue, and cooperation within the international security community. The ISN's Internet services are public and free of charge.

Intute: Social Sciences
Database/site directory of Internet resources, maintained by a network of universities in the United Kingdom. It offers users the chance to read descriptions of resources available over the Internet and to access those resources directly. The catalog points to thousands of resources (including papers, articles, reports, books, databases) selected by specialists. The catalog is browsable or searchable by subject.
