|
An online training module developed by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) covering EPHT basics
Environmental Public Health Tracking 101 covers the basic principles of environmental public health tracking and provides an overview of the environmental public health tracking process for public health professionals. The CDC developed this course for online study, but individuals can use the course materials for live presentations if necessary. Moreover, public health professionals can receive continuing education credits (CE) for completing the course and its corresponding quiz.The course is hosted on the National Environmental Health Association's Web site. The course is free, but participants must register. A fee is associated with CE's. Federal Geographic Data Committee; Metadata resources and Information - The FGDC is tasked by Executive Order 12906 to develop procedures and assist in the implementation of a distributed discovery mechanism for national digital geospatial data. A metadata record is a file of information, usually presented as an XML document, which captures the basic characteristics of a data or information resource.
