Hurricane Olga

This image of Hurricane Olga was acquired by the Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor (SeaWiFS) on November 28, 2001. At the time the hurricane’s sustained winds were about 85 miles per hour (137 km per hour). Bermuda is just to the west (left) of the storm. Olga was the 15th named storm (9th hurricane) of the 2001 Atlantic Hurricane Season, whcih ends on November 30th.
