DHS Communications


 

Overview


The department's public communications are delivered through the Office of Communications. The office serves the entire department, partners, legislators, stakeholders, the news media, the general public, members of Congress, and many other audiences. The office also develops and coordinates department-wide internal communication strategies for ongoing programs and key initiatives.

The office has communications officers assigned to each division and major program to provide communications services in the areas of strategic planning, writing, Web content review, publication editing, branding and messaging, media response, and other efforts.
