Daniel Gonzalez - Chief of Staff
Mr. Gonzalez previously served as Chairman Martin's Senior Legal Advisor and Legal Advisor for common carrier matters. Mr. Gonzalez rejoined the Commission, where he began service in 1990, after a period at XO Communications where he served as Vice President, External and Regulatory Affairs.

During his tenure at the FCC, Mr. Gonzalez served as Legal Advisor to Commissioner Rachelle B. Chong. He was principally responsible for advising the Commissioner on common carrier issues. Mr. Gonzalez joined the Commission in 1990 as an attorney in the Policy and Program Planning Division of the Common Carrier Bureau, and has subsequently served as an attorney in the Common Carrier Bureau's Accounting and Audits Division, and Legal Advisor to the Common Carrier Bureau Chief. Mr. Gonzalez is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law and earned his B.A. from the State University of New York. Mr. Gonzalez is a member of the New York and Florida Bars.

Michelle Carey - Senior Legal Advisor, Media Issues
Since September 2004, Michelle Carey served as Deputy Chief of the Wireline Competition Bureau. Prior to that, she was Chief of the Competition Policy Division for nearly five years, where she managed rulemaking proceedings concerning a variety of issues including local competition, broadband, and IP-enabled services. She also supervised numerous adjudicatory proceedings, including applications by the regional Bell companies to provide long-distance service and wireline telecommunications mergers. Prior to becoming Chief, Ms. Carey was Deputy Chief and, before that, a staff attorney in both the Policy and Enforcement divisions of the former Common Carrier Bureau. Before joining the Commission, Ms. Carey clerked for the Honorable Hart T. Mankin of the U.S. Court of Veterans Appeals. Ms. Carey received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University and her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Ian Dillner - Legal Advisor, Wireline Issues
Ian Dillner most recently served as Legal Advisor to FCC Commissioner Deborah Taylor Tate, after serving as Acting Legal Advisor to FCC Chairman Kevin J. Martin on Wireline Issues. Previously, Mr. Dillner served as a legal advisor to the Chief of the Wireline Competition Bureau and as a Senior Attorney in the Competition Policy Division of the Wireline Competition Bureau. Mr. Dillner received his B.A. with distinction from Goucher College and received his J.D. cum laude from the George Mason University School of Law.

Aaron Goldberger - Legal Advisor, Wireless and International Issues
Aaron Goldberger most recently served as Senior Legal Advisor to FCC Commissioner Deborah Taylor Tate. Prior to that, Mr. Goldberger served as Acting Deputy Director of the FCC’s Office of Legislative Affairs. Before joining the Office of Legislative Affairs, Mr. Goldberger served as Special Counsel and Legal Advisor to the Wireless Telecommunication Bureau Chief. Prior to that, Mr. Goldberger served as a Senior Attorney-Advisor in the Wireline Competition Bureau’s Competition Policy Division and as an Attorney-Advisor in the Common Carrier Bureau’s Network Services Division. Aaron Goldberger received his B.A. with honors from Michigan State University. He received his J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington, where he served as Senior Managing Editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal.

Sheryl Todd - Administrative Officer
Sheryl Todd has been with the Commission since 1992 and has carried out a wide range of analytical and management assignments for the Office of the Chairman, the Office of Managing Director, and the Wireline Competition Bureau. Her responsibilities have included database design and management, procurement research, legal and report editing, and liaison with industry and Congress. Lori Alexiou serves as Chairman Martin’s Confidential Assistant. She is responsible for managing the office as well as coordinating all aspects of the Chairman’s schedule. Vivette Hart - Staff Assistant
Vivette Hart is a Staff Assistant in the office of Chairman Kevin J. Martin. Ms. Hart previously served as Staff Assistant in the Office of Commissioner Kevin J. Martin, Lead Secretary for the Chief of the Office of Engineering and Technology, Staff Assistant for former Chairman Dennis Patrick, and a secretary in the Office of Plans and Policy, now known as Office of Strategic Planning. Shandria Dixon is a staff assistant in the office of Chairman Kevin J. Martin. Previously, she was Executive Assistant to the General Counsel in the Office of General Counsel.
