Secretary Rice to Travel to Germany and Switzerland

Secretary Rice will travel to Berlin, Germany January 22 and Davos, Switzerland January 23. In Berlin the Secretary will participate in bilateral meetings with senior German officials during which she will discuss the wide range of issues the U.S. and Germany cooperate on including the NATO effort in Afghanistan. She will also participate in a meeting of the Permanent Five Members of the UN Security Council and Germany on Iran. In Davos the Secretary will deliver the keynote address at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum and conduct bilateral meetings with senior Swiss officials.
