Free English classes for those who work at BNL, their spouses, partners and children (ages 14 and over).Welcome to English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at Brookhaven National Laboratory. What is ESOL? ESOL is a program with FREE English classes that help our BNL visitors, guests, employees and spouses with their English skills. The classes are held in the Recreation Building (#317). We have field trips and learn about American and international cultures together. The ESOL office is in Building 400. The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program
compliments the Laboratory’s mission in its endeavor to create a
safe and welcoming workplace and community environment by supporting
those employees, visitors, users, students, and immediate family
members who would like to improve their English skills by providing
English language classes that suit their curricular needs along with
supplementary cross-cultural educational programs that enhance
communication among our diverse population.
