2 EXPLANATION OF CHANGES

The DM 3500 is being revised primarily to incorporate: an updated Appendix A, Glossary, and Chapter 15, Security Controls.

3 FILING INSTRUCTIONS:

Insert or replace the following material

Replace: Appendix A, Glossary dated 3/31/05 (in its entirety) with the updated Appendix A, Glossary;

Insert:

Chapter 15, Security Controls, DM 3575-000

Chapter 15, Part 1, Security Controls in the Systems Development Life Cycle, DM 3575-001.
