The New Genetics: Courseware for Physicians is designed for medical doctors who wish to update their knowledge about genetics and genomics. Price includes Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits from Stanford University. The New Genetics: Medicine and the Human Genome presents the same content, without CME credits, for college students, researchers, nurses, policymakers, attorneys, and others who are interested in the impact of genetics and genomics on healthcare and society. Both CD-ROMs can be ordered through the Web site, which contains sample text, complete content outline, feature demonstrations, and animations. They were produced by Sara Tobin (Stanford University) and Ann Boughton (Twisted Ladder Media), with support from the Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues component of DOE's Human Genome Program.
