You insult us with this irresponsible behavior while you ignore the sound and strong scientific evidence of the potential health and environmental risks of these GE foods. I have enough allergies and don't want to have food tampered with more than it already is. "Voluntary labeling" is a policy that will not work and you know that. Corporate self interests always win out over basic human needs. No one will know from what source their allergic or toxic reactions might come if there is no informed labeling. Your proposed rules ignore our serious concerns. I will not be a guinea pig of these untested foods, and I trust you will take my concern along with the thousands of others into serious consideration. Sincerely, donna germano
